For 29 years I was a firefighter. When I retired, I knew I wanted to do something more than just odd jobs around the house. So I joined a local camera club to try to learn the art of photography. Since that time, I have taken many classes to improve my skills. I have been featured in Chapel Hill News and Reviews and have won a few awards. Something that started out as a hobby has turned into my passion and I love every aspect of it.
For me, photography allows me to capture a simple candid shot, a special occasion or a wonderful family memory. Being a photographer allows me to capture special times in people's lives. I try to capture poses that are different from what is on the market.
There may be times when a person wants to have a special background, such as a waterfall, a lake setting, a church, outdoors, at sunset, in your home or anywhere - I will travel to your special location to personalize the photo shoot.
